Recently a distressing incident came to light where the lifeless body of an individual was recovered from Teesta Canal in Mohammad Buxa area under Phansidewa police station. However, his identity was actually yet to be ascertained. Reportedly on this Saturday, a few locals spotted the deceased body floating in the Teesta Canal. Subsequently, they actually reported the matter to Phansidewa police station.
In fact upon receiving the news, the Phansidewa police arrived at the spot, recovered the body, and transported to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for a post-mortem examination. Currently, the police are actually engaged in further investigation. This is very sad incident and people should be aware of these things. In fact people should take it very seriously and take immediate action if they find anything suspicious by informing about it. Today crime is increasing very much and it is making people life very unsafe. Everyone should stand against it and fight to stop it.
