On this Tuesday, Maniram Gram Panchayat (GP) Pradhan Goutam Ghosh officially inaugurated the solar energy-powered drinking water project in Nehal-Dayaram and Jhapu Jote of Naxalbari. Notably, the project has been initiated to resolve the drinking water issues of the residents. According to reports, the project has been completed in two years with an estimated budget of Rs 11 lakh. The recent development would ensure pure drinking water for the general public.
Significantly, before this, ten solar energy-powered drinking water projects were actually inaugurated in Maniram Gram Panchayat, while, six more projects are in progress. After the inauguration, the residents are elated to receive pure drinking water. Actually this is very good initiative done by government as local people is able to drink water from this project. In reality water is the basic requirement of any place as it defines quality of life there and helps developing that place. This type of work should be encouraged so that more projects gets finished for the betterment of people.
