In a significant breakthrough, recently the undercover cops of Siliguri police station have apprehended a notorious thief responsible for a spate of thefts in College Para and Milanpally areas. Actually the arrested accused has been identified as Ajay Barman (19). Reportedly, after receiving written complaints on April 30, the Siliguri police launched an investigation and successfully located Ajay Barman in the Dabgram area based on a tip-off. In fact sources within the police department revealed that Barman had been stealing iron objects from various apartments in the said areas. Subsequently, the accused was wandering in attempts to sell the stolen goods in Dabgram area on Wednesday. Acting swiftly, the police actually apprehended him and recovered the stolen items.
Meanwhile, on Thursday the accused has been presented before the Siliguri court, while the police are actually engaged in further investigation. This is actually very sad incident and people need to take it very seriously as this type of things harm our society very much.
