Recently the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) of all booths of Alipurduar Lok Sabha constituency have been sealed in DCRC strong room situated at Alipurduar University. Reportedly, the EVMs would actually be kept in the strong room guarded by paramilitary forces till June 4. Notably, after the first phase of Lok Sabha elections ended on Friday, the EVMs were actually brought from all the booths to the strong room.
Today the strong room was sealed in the presence of all party candidates and agents. In fact the strong room would be under strict vigilance by central force and police till the counting of votes. It is actually good thing that this election is conducting in very safe way so that it end in very fair way. In reality India is very big country with huge population and conducting election here is very difficult and needs huge work. In fact it becomes the responsibility of all Indians to give this election fairly so that we get the right result.
