Reach to Teach Foundation in collaboration with SCERT Arunachal Pradesh

Reach to Teach Foundation conducted a month-long training for teachers in Government schools in Arunachal Pradesh, focusing on familiarizing them with the Examinations and Beyond Tool Kit designed by Reach to Teach to assist the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) in improving children’s performance in Board examinations. 

The Hon’ble Minister of Education, Er. TabaTedir, launched a training programme in the presence of Shri AmjadTak, Commissioner of Education, Shri PigeLigu, Secretary Education, Mr. ManoranjanNayak, Executive Director of Reach to Teach Foundation, and other senior officials from the Education Department and Reach to Teach Foundation. Ratna Viswanathan, Chair of the Board, Reach to Teach Foundation said, “We have created a toolkit focusing on learning by the child as a whole while providing the necessary emotional support required at the time of exams.”

The Reach to Teach Foundation’s three-year program, in collaboration with SCERT, aims to enhance teaching and learning outcomes in the State. In September and October, a series of trainings were conducted across 26 districts, training 239 teachers in Maths, 227 in Science, 191 in English in class X and 49 in Maths, 40 in Physics, 40 in Chemistry, and 38 In Biology in class XII.
