It features Hanks’ title character wishing a happy New Year Gary Sinise’s character of Lt. Dan Taylor, who lost a limb during the Vietnam War.
As Forrest wishes him, Gary sits in silence and contemplates the emptiness of his life. This is quite unusual for Ranveer, who is otherwise known for his infectious energy and livewire vibe that can light up any event. While many would wonder what prompted the actor to make such a post, a cursory look at public reactions to his past releases would point to the actor feeling under-appreciated.
