Rahul was granted temporary bail

A district court in Gujarat’s Surat on Thursday convicted Rahul. He was sentenced to two years. After this, Rahul was granted temporary bail. He was granted bail for 30 days. Among them, Rahul can challenge the verdict of the lower court. However, since the two-year sentence, there are concerns about Rahul’s retention as an MP.
But Congress MP Rahul indicated on this day that he will remain firm in his position. He opened his mouth on Twitter after the court verdict. Quoting Mahatma Gandhi, he wrote, ‘Truth and non-violence are my religion. And the truth is God to me. And non-violence is the pursuit of God’. On this day, Rahul also told the court that he had no intention to hurt anyone.
