An offensive against e-rickshaws without licence plates has been started by the traffic police once more. During the aforementioned drive in Siliguri’s Hashmi Chowk, a quantity of unnumbered Totos were seized. It should be noted that unnumbered Totos cannot be driven on the city’s major roadways. Totos continue to travel Siliguri’s main highways in defiance of the administration’s directives. The police administration does, however, occasionally take action against the countless totos who disobey the law. The drivers of Toto, however, said that they are following the law and that the cops are bothering them unduly.
