The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) had informed that Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is on a 2-day visit in Gujarat on 11th and 12th March. Pm Modi will address various programmes and also dedicate various projects during the visit in the state.
With 33 district panchayats, 248 taluka panchayats and over 14,500 gram panchayats, the state Gujarat has a three-tier Panchayati Raj structure.
From the 3 tiers of the Panchayati Raj institutions in Gujarat, more than 1 lakh representatives will be participate in the event which will be witnessed by ‘Gujarat Panchayat Mahasammelan: Aapnu Gaam, Aapnu Gaurav’.
PM Narendra Modi tweeted that, “Leaving for Gujarat, where I will be attending various programmes today and tomorrow. At 4 PM today, will address a Panchayat Mahasammelan, where several representatives from Panchayati Raj institutions will attend.”
RRU was established by the Gujarat government in the year of 2010 but the University commenced its operations on 1st October, 2020. High quality trained manpower required in the various wings of police, criminal justice and correctional administration. RRU is set to meet this need.
Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) will be dedicated to this nation by PM Narendra Modi on 12th March and also the first convocation address of the RRU will be delivered by him as the Chief Guest of this University. The 11th Khel Mahakumbh will be opened which will also be declared by him and he will deliver an address on that occasion also.
In Gujarat, the Khel Mahakumbh has revolutionized the sports ecosystem. There are many participants who compete in the various events and there is no age bar. Traditional sports like kabaddi, kho-kho, tug of war, yogasana, mallakhambh and many other modern sports like artistic skating, tennis and fencing will witness in this event. 36 general sports and 26 para sports are currently encompassed by the Khel Mahakumbh. For the 11th Khel Mahakumbh, over 45 lakh sportspersons have registered to participate.
