A woman from Pakistan entered India illegally with her four children after falling in love with a man from Greater Noida on the gaming app PUBG Mobile.
Seema Ghulam Haider, a 27-year-old Pakistani woman, and the man have been identified as Sachin, 22. The two met and fell in love on the gaming platform after which they decided to stay together in India. In India, they were living in a rented apartment in the Rabupura area of Greater Noida. According to India Today report, the woman had entered India in May with her four children as the apartment owner Brijesh told the police that they had rented the house in May.
Last May, she entered India illegally through Nepal. From Kathmandu, they went to Pokhara and from there they boarded a bus and crossed the international border despite the check. Later she reached Delhi and later met Sachin. Sachin owns a grocery store in the Rabupura area of Greater Noida.
Before she entered India illegally, the two lovers met in Nepal in January and also decided to stay together, Additional CP Sureshro Arvind Kulkarni told.
Recently, the couple went to a lawyer and sought advice on the legality of his residence and marriage. After growing suspicious of the woman, the lawyer reported the matter to the local police.
On Friday, Seema went to her lawyer and asked about her Indian visa and she got up and left. “One of my associates followed them. When I came to know that they were living in a house in Rabupura, I informed the police,” the lawyer was quoted.
Meanwhile, both Sachin and Seema have now been arrested by the police, and further investigations are underway in the case. “A Pakistani woman and a local man have been detained. The woman’s four children are also in police custody,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Greater Noida) Saad Mia Khan told PTI.
According to lawyers and police, Seema claimed that she was a victim of domestic violence in Pakistan. “She told me that she is married to a Pakistani man who works in Saudi Arabia and he would beat her for small things.
