Over dozen of NATO ships headed to the Stockholm

From several NATO countries thirteen warships are heading to Stockholm after military drills. As per the Aftonbladet, the ships’ movement has nothing to do with the situation in Ukraine.

The thirteen warships include nine German vessels. Four ships from the Baltics are also included that are on their way to Frihamnen Port following the exercise.

“The member states were stepping up their support to Ukraine”, said by the NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

After the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics appealed for help in defending themselves against the Kiev forces, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine.

Russia said that the aim of its special operation is to demilitarize and that only military infrastructure is being targeted. The civilian population is not in danger.
