Only TET-qualified teachers to be part of madrasa education, Says UP govt

Under the Madrasa Modernisation Scheme of the Uttar Pradesh govt., the state authorities now plans to only enable Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) qualified teachers to educate at madrasas.

As phase of this new scheme, 80% modern-day training and 20% deeni schooling will be provided.

The government center of attention on subjects will be Hindi, English, science, mathematics, and social science.

The initiative additionally attempts to carry in transparency to the instructor appointment process. The trainer recruitment guidelines will be amended as well.

Only after qualifying TET can madrasa instructors be hired. Earlier, BEd qualified instructors were employed to teach at madrasas.

Also, madrasa college students themselves had been later hired as teachers. Aaliya-level madrasas will have one teacher, in Class 5, four instructors will be, Classes 6 to 8 will have two teachers, and Classes 9 and 10 will have three teachers to educate current education.
