One person was killed and two others injured when a pickup van collided with a truck near Siliguri in West Bengal on Monday, police said.
According to police, all the injured were rushed to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital.
One person was declared dead while the other two are undergoing treatment, police said.
Initial investigations revealed that the pickup van was trying to overtake another vehicle when it collided head-on with the truck in Bagdogra.
The accident caused a traffic jam on the main road.
