On the death anniversary of freedom fighter Shyamji Krishna Varma, PM Modi pays tributes to him

Shyamji Krishna Varma’s death anniversary is on 30th March. Shyamji Krishna Varma was born in Gujarat. He was a freedom fighter who founded the Indian Home Rule Society. He also found The Indian Sociologist and India House in London.

The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi pays tribute to him on his death anniversary.

PM Narendra Modi shared on the twitter that:

Shyamji Krishna Varma was a barrister in London. For being critical of the colonial government, he was later barred from the practicing. At Oxford University he also taught Sanskrit.
