NSDC International and PhysicsWallah launch BIG initiative to bridge education-industry gap

The National Skill Development Corporation International (NSDC International) and PhysicsWallah (PW), a leading Indian edtech company, have launched a groundbreaking initiative called Bharat Innovation Global (BIG). This joint venture aims to transform India into a global education hub by aligning educational pathways with industry needs and fostering employability.

BIG is designed to cater to a diverse range of learners, starting from students in classes 11 and 12. The initiative focuses on providing industry-relevant training at an early stage, extending to ITI, Polytechnic, and university students, as well as working professionals. In addition, it targets government sector employees, offering skill-building programs to enhance their capabilities in modern governance and public service delivery.

Shri Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO of NSDC and MD of NSDC International, highlighted the importance of the partnership with PW, stating, “The BIG initiative will empower millions of learners by equipping them with essential skills for the future job market.” Alakh Pandey, Founder & CEO of PW, emphasized the need for innovative and adaptable education, aiming to support learners throughout their educational journey. In Siliguri, BIG’s digital and flexible learning model is expected to provide significant opportunities for students and professionals in the region, helping them access scalable, industry-relevant education and skill-building resources.
