Not allowed to wear jeans after marriage, Jharkhand lady kills husband

A lady stabbed her husband to dying as she was stopped from carrying jeans after marriage in Jharkhand’s Jamtara. The incident has been reported from Jorbhitha village beneath Jamtara police station limits.

On Saturday night, the victim, identified as Pushpa Hembrom, went to see a mela in Gopalpur village wearing jeans. When she returned back home, the couple had a heated argument over her apparel and questioned her as to why she wore the jeans after her marriage.

The alleged comments of the husband led to an argument and, in a suit of rage, Pushpa attacked her husband with a knife, leaving the victim grievously injured.

The household participants of the victim without delay rushed him to Dhanbad PMCH however he died. The father of the deceased, Karneshwar Tudu, stated that there was once a dispute between his son and daughter-in-law over carrying jeans. “The spouse stabbed her husband to demise at some point of the fight,” he said.

Meanwhile, police have launched an investigation into the matter and efforts are underway to get better the murder weapon.
