Nissan Motor India has set a new benchmark in the B-SUV category with the launch of its industry-first 10-Year Extended Warranty Plan for the New Nissan Magnite. The model, recently awarded a Global NCAP 5-star rating for adult occupant safety, now offers warranty coverage of up to 10 years or 2 lakh kilometres at an operating cost of just 22 paise per km or INR 12 per day.
The plan, available only for vehicles with a 3-year standard warranty, features flexible packages — 3+7, 3+4, 3+3, 3+2, and 3+1 years. Customers get seven years of comprehensive coverage, followed by engine and transmission protection for the final three years. Unlimited cashless repairs at Nissan-authorised service centres and financing via Nissan Finance add further consumer value.
Industry observers forecast robust demand as the market increasingly values safety, cost predictability, and long-term durability — critical for navigating the region’s hilly terrain. The Magnite’s strong safety record and decade-long protection could make it a preferred choice for both private and business owners. “This bold move delivers worry-free ownership for a decade,” said Saurabh Vatsa, MD, Nissan Motor India, underscoring the brand’s commitment to sustained consumer confidence.
