Bengali actress and TMC MP Nusrat Jahan made her first public appearance today, September 8, after delivering her first child. The actress welcomed a baby boy on August 26. In less than a month, the actress has resumed work. For the first time, Nusrat publicly spoke about her child’s father.
In a recent post on Instagram, Nusrat Jahan, shared a powerful message for her haters. Today, September 8, the actress spoke about her son’s father while addressing the media. When asked when can one get the first glimpse of her son, Nusrat said, “You should ask his father that. He is not letting anyone see him at the moment.”

Jahan was admitted to a hospital in Park Street on August 25, and gave birth to the child around 12.20 pm the next day.
Bengali actor Yash Dasgupta was present at the hospital.
Meanwhile, Nusrat was previously married to Kolkata-based businessman Nikhil Jain. She was embroiled in a controversy regarding the validity of the wedding. They exchanged wedding vows in Turkey in 2019. However, Nusrat denied the standing of the marriage in India. She claimed that the marriage was invalid under Indian laws and that Nikhil was her live-in-partner.
After this, speculations started doing the round regarding Nusrat dating politician Yash Dasgupta who was also by her side during the birth of her son.
Yash was seen carrying Yishaan to the car from the Bhagirathi Neotia Hospital when the baby was born. He was also the one sharing Nusrat’s health update with the media. He said, “For those who have been enquiring about Nusrat’s health, the mother and child are healthy and doing well.” Later, Nikhil also talked about the baby and wished him well. He was quoted by news agency PTI as saying, “I wish the baby boy has a bright future.”
