Puducherry on Saturday registered one new COVID-19 case, pushing the overall caseload to 1,65,789 while no new death was recorded in the last 24 hours.
A new infection was detected after 118 samples were tested, Health Director G Sriramulu said in a release.
No new deaths were reported in its four regions – Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam – in the last 24 hours and the toll remained at 1,962.
