Nagaland Baptist College (NBC) held its 18th college cultural fest on February 5, under the theme “Culture and tradition: our prized inheritance”. The event was graced by, proprietor of M/s multi builders, Howoto Jakhalu as chief guest. He shared his concern and thoughts for the young people especially in preserving the cultural heritage of the land and re-inculcating work culture for which Nagas have been known for.
Howoto also dwelt work culture and reminded the students on how the forefathers were known for their self sufficient and hard working by nature. Northern Sumi Students Union president, Puloto G. Awomi who was the guest of honour also exhorted the students. NBC students’ union president, Kahito K. Kinimi welcomed the guests.
