Narayan Seva Sansthan transforms lives of 160 differently-abled in Siliguri camp

Narayan Seva Sansthan organized a life-changing Narayan Limb and Calipers Fitment Camp at Shivam Palace, Burdwan Road, benefiting 160 differently-abled individuals. The camp provided free upper and lower artificial limbs and calipers to those in need, enhancing their mobility and independence. The event was graced by local MLA Dr. Shankarlal Ghosh and SDO IAS Avadh Singhal, who commended the organization’s efforts in transforming lives.

Dr. Ghosh expressed his appreciation, saying, “Your services not only transform lives but inspire society to contribute positively.” He assured the institution of his full support. IAS Avadh Singhal highlighted the importance of such initiatives and promised continued assistance to the differently-abled community in the region.

The event was supported by several local organizations, including the North Bengal Marwari Seva Trust and Shri Ram Seva Parivar, along with volunteers who were honored for their contributions. Over 130 individuals received Narayan artificial limbs, while 30 were fitted with calipers, restoring their mobility. Siliguri has witnessed a growing demand for such life-enhancing initiatives. The local community has expressed strong support, and events like these not only offer immediate benefits but also encourage local businesses and organizations to engage in social responsibility efforts, further enhancing the region’s spirit of unity and compassion. Narayan Seva Sansthan, founded in 1985, continues to expand its reach, having already provided over 36,000 Narayan limbs globally, with a special focus on West Bengal to empower the differently-abled and restore their dignity.
