Miheeka opted for simple and neutral makeup for all her pre-wedding ceremonies, with natural colours and minimalist looks, letting her outfits and jewellery do all the talking. But for the wedding, the bride went all out. Sporting smokey eyes with bronze-pink undertones and feathery lashes that highlighted her beautiful eyes, a lush coral lip-shade that matched her dupatta, she was the modern Indian bride personified.
Tamanna Rooz, celebrity makeup artist who worked on Miheeka’s wedding look, says, “Miheeka is a fun-loving and chirpy person, so the makeup is a reflection of her personality. In all her pre-wedding rituals, we didn’t play much with shimmer or glitter, keeping her makeup soft, angelic and dewy.” She adds, “The wedding look is the opposite — very glam and Bollywood-ish. None of the hues of the pre-wedding rituals were repeated. Her tied up hair ensured the intricate hair piece she wore got all the attention. Clean makeup with a hint of traditionalism is what we went for,” she adds.
