Medanta – The Medicity, Gurgaon, named India’s Best Private Hospital by Newsweek for six consecutive years, proudly announced the successful completion of a two-day multi-speciality medical camp for Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL) employees in Assam. The initiative, organised in collaboration with IOCL Refinery Hospitals, was conducted at two locations – IOCL L & D Centre, Noonmati, Guwahati on August 22, and Refinery Hospital, Bongaigaon on August 23.
The camp was led by senior specialists Dr. Pawan Rawal, Senior Director, Gastrosciences, and Dr. Sharad Tandon, Director, Cardiac Care. Both doctors delivered expert consultations and awareness talks, focusing on preventive care. Dr. Rawal highlighted the importance of gastrointestinal health through balanced nutrition and regular screenings, while Dr. Tandonemphasised cardiac risk management through lifestyle modifications and timely check-ups.
The initiative highlights the region’s rising healthcare demand. Positioned as a vital commercial and transit hub for North Bengal and the Northeast, witnessing increasing demand for quality multi-speciality care.
