Siliguri, April: Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb held a meeting on various traffic related issues. Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar, DCP Traffic Biswa Chand Thakur and other dignitaries were present in the meeting.
According to sources, the main agenda of the meeting was to operationalise the bus terminal at Teen Batti More and shift long distance vehicles there and buses from Bagrakot to Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminal.
In this regard, Mayor Gautam Deb said that some trees will be shifted to NBSTC and development works will be carried out. He further said that the traffic system of the city was discussed in the meeting.
