Local train mows down 3 kids near Uluberia

Three children were killed and one injured when a local train rammed into a local train near Ulberia station in the Howrah-Kharagpur section of the South Eastern Railway late on Thursday evening.
According to the report of the police, the incident took place at around 8:45 pm near Dom Para, a short distance from Ulberia station. The news of this heart-wrenching accident caused a furor. All the children who died are said to be between 10 and 12 years of age. Their names have been described as Aminur Mollah, Jasim Mollah and Sheikh Nasiruddin.

According to sources some children were playing on the middle line, a short distance from the station. During this, three children were killed on the spot after being hit by a local train suddenly. There a child fell away. He has been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

As soon as the information about the accident was received, the team of RPF and GRP reached the spot near Ulberia police station. Police have taken the bodies in possession and sent them for post-mortem.

Aditya Kumar Chaudhary, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of South Eastern Railway said that an incident has happened near Ulberia station which is very sad. This incident will be investigated.
