On the occasion of Independence Day, the number of metro stations in Kolkata was reduced. Currently, there are about a hundred fewer metros. The opening and closing hours of the metro, however, remain unchanged.
According to an announcement by the Kolkata Metro Railway, the first metro from Dum Dum to Kavi Subhash will be accessible on August 15 at 6:50 am.
Along with that metro will also go from Dakshineshwar. The first metro departs from Dakshineswar for Kavi Subhash at 7 am. 188 metros will operate. On August 15, a whole 188 metros will run up and down Dakshineshwar-Kabi Subhash. On other days, this route is served by 288 Metro.
9:40 PM, the last metro leaves Dum Dum for Kavi Subhash. Dum Dum Metro will also leave from Kavi Subhash at this moment. The metro stop for Dakshineswar to Kavi was at 1:07.
9:30 PM, the final metro leaves for Kavi Subhash Dakshineswar. Update on Sector Five of Sealdah East-West Metro August 15, 100 trains will run on Sealdah-Sector Five East-West Metro instead of 90. At 6:55 am, the first metro leaves Sealdah towards Sector Five.
At 7 am the first metro arrived from Sector Five to Sealdah and at 9:35 PM the last metro from Sealdah to Sector 5. The final Metro from Sector Five to Sealdah will leave at 9:40 PM.
