On Monday evening, a massive 120 x 120-foot billboard collapsed in Ghatkopar, Mumbai, resulting in the deaths of Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan’s two relatives. Kartik Aaryan was seen at their funeral. Kartik Aaryan’s uncle Manoj Chansoria and aunt Anita also lost their lives under the fallen billboard in Mumbai.
On May 13, they were returning to Jabalpur from Mumbai. The couple had come to Mumbai to apply for a visa to visit their son in America. At around 4:30 PM, while they were passing through Ghatkopar, a sudden gust of wind caused the 250-ton billboard to collapse onto their car. Their bodies were recovered from under the billboard 56 hours after the accident, on Wednesday. It is reported that decomposition had already begun by the time their bodies were found.
