In a significant push for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, HCG Cancer Centre Kolkata has joined forces with Decathlon to organize the Festival Run 2024, focusing on the critical importance of early detection. The event commenced and concluded at Decathlon, Salt Lake, Sector V, and was flagged off by Debashis Sen, former IAS officer and CMD of Hidco, alongside Dr. Amarjeet Singh, COO of HCG Cancer Centre Kolkata. The 5 km run attracted over 1,000 participants, including healthcare professionals and community members, demonstrating a strong commitment to health awareness.
The event featured an engaging flash mob performance inspired by Michael Jackson’s “Dangerous,” with dancers promoting breast cancer awareness through vibrant costumes and placards urging early screening.
