JK Cement Limited, India’s one of the leading grey cement, white cement and wall putty manufacturers, has launched its wall putty manufacturing plant in Siliguri. With the launch of this plant, JK Cement plans to manufacture and distribute its marquee brand, JK Cement WallMaxX in the eastern markets, keeping Siliguri as the hub. This marks the first manufacturing unit of wall putty product in the eastern geography, which aims to address JKC WallMaxX’s burgeoning demand in the region.
The company launched its wall putty brand, JK Cement WallMaxX (formerly known as JK Wall Putty) from its manufacturing unit at Gotan, Rajasthan, in 2002. Owing to a greater demand in the market, it commissioned a flagship wall putty manufacturing unit at Katni, M.P. in the year 2016. Earlier this year, the company has launched another wall putty manufacturing unit at Guntur, A.P. to cater to the southern market and now, with the launch of this manufacturing plant in Siliguri (West Bengal), it aims to increase its share in the eastern market too.
