In guide of more than a few demands, District Trinamool Youth Congress President Saikat Chatterjee alongside with party’s individuals protested in the front of Jalpaiguri Town Railway Station, on Monday.
Chatterjee cited that the coaches of Darjeeling Mail and Teesta Torsha have been removed from the station even although Mithali Express is no longer serviceable.
Further taking a jibe, the TMYC leader alleged that the ancient Jalpaiguri Town Railway Station has now been converted into a ‘Maha Shamshan’ ground.
In response to this, station supervisor Nitai Das noted that the TMYC has raised quite a number demands concerning Darjeeling Mail and Teesta Torsha then again no memorandum has been submitted in this regards. Nonetheless, Das assured to take the depend to the higher authorities.
