The Prime Minister of Israel Naftali Bennett has tested positive for Covid-19. He has been planned to visit India. But days ahead of his scheduled he tested Covid positive. Bennett’s office said that the Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is feeling well now. While self-isolating at home, he will continue his work.
The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi had invited Naftali Bennett to India. At his invitation Naftali Bennett had announced his first official visit to India. Bennett was supposed to meet PM Narendra Modi and other senior government officials during his visit to India. He will also about to visit the Jewish community in India.
PM Naftali Bennett said that, “At the invitation of my friend Prime Minister Narendra Modi, I am delighted to pay my first official visit to India. We will continue leading the way for our countries’ relations together there.”
The PMO of Israel said that the purpose of the visit was to strengthen the strategic alliance and also to expand bilateral ties between the countries. Also the leaders will discuss the strengthening of cooperation in a variety of areas such as economy, innovation, agriculture, research and development and many more.
But as the PM of Israel has tested Covid positive so the visit has further been scheduled for April 2.
