A leader in immersive audio and video entertainment, Dolby Laboratories launched an educational program for members of The Indian Performing Right Society Limited (IPRS), India’s sole performing rights organization representing more than 6000 prominent music authors, composers, and publishers across the country. The program will provide members with the opportunity to attend Dolby Atmos Music Webinar Series covering technology & workflows, Dolby Atmos Tutorial Series, Dolby Institute Masterclass and a free trial to Dolby Atmos Production Suite among other activities.
Managing Director (Emerging Markets) of Dolby Laboratories, Mr. Pankaj Kedia said, Dolby Atmos is a new experience for creators and music enthusiasts. It presents an array of new possibilities for creators to experiment and express themselves with their recordings. Through this program, Dolby is providing music creators and publishers in India the opportunity to discover and learn more about how Dolby Atmos is redefining, how music is created and experienced. Chairman of IPRS, Mr. Javed Akhtar said, IPRS is looking forward to partner with Dolby to offer its members the opportunity to learn more about Dolby Atmos Music. This education program from Dolby will inspire and create opportunities for the music community in India to create spectacular and amazing experiences for their music.
