In a globally interconnected world, disaster in one location can have a significant influence on a completely different region, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who emphasised the necessity for an integrated response to disasters on Tuesday.
He mentioned in his video speech at the fifth International Conference on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure 2023 that the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI), which was founded a few years ago, now counts 40 countries as members.
A video greeting was also given by Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
