In recent weeks, an accelerated surge in the number of Covid-positive cases has disrupted the Himalayan nation Nepal that led to the enforcement of multiple local/partial lockdowns across the country. In a bid to contribute towards Nepal’s fight against Covid-19, Bengaluru-based nanotechnology start-up Log 9 Materials has decided to introduce its flagship UV-C-technology based surface disinfection solution to the Nepalese market. At the moment, the Indian start-up is looking to expand its footprints to Kathmandu, Pokhara, Lalitpur, Biratnagar and other big cities in Nepal. CoronaOven has established itself as the leading UV-technology based commercial disinfection product in India, with customers ranging from Indian Army, State Police Departments, PSUs, reputed hospitals. The product line has been tested and certified in terms of proper UV-C dosage by India’s apex medical research body ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research)-authorized CSIR-CSIO.
“As our ‘CoronaOven’ product line has proved to be great successes in the Indian market, we now want to emulate a similar model in neighboring countries like Nepal and various international export markets. Hereon by introducing our product portfolio to the Nepal, we are hoping to enable and empower the country’s citizens with safe and scientific sanitization/disinfection solutions”, said Mr. Akshay Singhal, Founder & CEO, Log 9 Materials.
