Infosys Foundation Opens ₹2 Crore Social Innovation Awards Program

Infosys Foundation has launched the fourth edition of its Aarohan Social Innovation Awards, offering ₹2 crore in total funding to support social entrepreneurs developing technology solutions for India’s underserved communities.

The awards program seeks innovations in three categories: education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability. Winners can receive up to ₹50 lakh each for scalable, technology-driven projects that address real social challenges. Applications are open from April 24 to June 15, 2025, for Indian citizens aged 18 and above. Participants must submit video presentations of working prototypes or completed projects through the awards website.

“Through the Aarohan Social Innovation Awards, we are committed to identifying and supporting changemakers who are driving impactful solutions,” said Sumit Virmani, Trustee at Infosys Foundation. The evaluation process will focus on three criteria: addressing genuine problems, delivering effective and sustainable solutions, and demonstrating founder commitment to creating meaningful social impact.
