More than 25 people fell into a stepwell at the Shri Beleshwar Mahadev Jhulelal Temple in Indore as a result of a serious mishap in which the well’s lid collapsed. The people that fell into the stepwell are currently being extracted. Around 12 o’clock in the afternoon, Ram Navami prayers were being offered in the Patel Nagar temple when the tragedy took place. The incident happened on Ram Navami, when there was a tremendous influx of worshippers at the temple. The people who fell into the stepwell are being saved. There are policeman pulling people out with ropes. Eight people have so far been saved, but it’s believed that another 17 are still trapped.
