India on track to achieve USD 2 trillion exports by 2030

As he launched a “dynamic and responsive” foreign trade policy on Friday, Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal professed optimism that India’s exports of goods and services will surpass USD 2 trillion by 2030 from their current level of USD 765 billion.
According to him, despite the current state of the world economy, exports of products have seen good development, whereas exports of services could experience a significant increase this fiscal year.
The minister stated that “we will need to work a little harder” on goods exports but added that “we have to reach our exports targets going forward.”
