In the Panitanki Bazaar of Kharibari a youth accused of theft in a utensils store was arrested by the police

Kharibari, 22nd December: Recently a youth accused of theft in a utensils store in the Panitanki Bazaar of Kharibari was arrested by the police. In reality  the arrested accused has been identified as Prasenjit Roy (20), a resident of Matigara area. According to reports, on Tuesday night, a utensils store was actually robbed in the Kharibari area near the Indo-Nepal border. Significantly, the incident was captured on the shop’s CCTV camera. Subsequently, the shop owner filed a written complaint of theft at the Kharibari police station. Based on the complaint, the police arrested Prasenjit Roy from Matigara. On Friday, the accused was produced before the Siliguri Divisional Court. At present, the Police are engaged in a detailed investigation of the entire incident.
