A coal-laden truck actually met with an accident on Burdwan Road later on Friday night. In fact the driver sustained injuries in the incident. As per reports, the truck, bearing a Nagaland registration and transporting coal from Gujarat to Bhutan, lost its way and ended up on Burdwan Road via Jhankar More. Actually after seeking directions from locals, the driver attempted to turn the truck around near Santoshi Nagar but lost control, resulting in the accident.
Upon receiving news of the accident, police from Khalpara Outpost promptly arrived at the scene and are currently investigating the matter thoroughly. This is actually very sad incident as this type of accident is happening and making road an unsafe place for people. In fact people need to take these things very seriously and follow traffic rules very strictly. As we know that for any place road is very important infrastructure and everything is actually depended on it. For these things we need to make road a safe place so that everyone can use it.
