Recently a theft occurred in an empty house in the Jorpakhri area of Fulbari II, resulting in the arrest of Mohammad Shakil by NJP police. Reportedly, the incident took place between June 2 and June 8, while the homeowner and family were out of town. Upon their return, they discovered the house in disarray and several gold ornaments missing. Actually the homeowner filed a written complaint at the NJP police station, prompting a swift response from the authorities. Within 12 hours of receiving the complaint, the police apprehended Mohammad Shakil and recovered the stolen gold ornaments.
On Monday the accused was presented in Jalpaiguri court. Right now the police are continuing their investigation into the incident. This is actually very sad incident and people should take it very seriously so that this type of things doesn’t happen. In fact they should inform about this things if they find anything suspicious. Also police should take this type of case very strictly to solve these things.
