In the national capital, petrol and diesel prices have risen to Rs 98.11 per litre and Rs 88.65 per litre, respectively, on Saturday. Petrol and diesel have increased in price by 35 paise per litre since Friday. Residents of Delhi claim that they are experiencing difficulty as a result of the recent spike in fuel costs.
“The situation is unsatisfactory. There is no money, and fuel expenses are always rising “remarked by commuter. In Mumbai, petrol and diesel rates were also increased, at Rs 104.22 and Rs 96.16 per litre, respectively. In Chennai, petrol and diesel cost Rs 99.19 and Rs 93.23 per litre, respectively, while in Kolkata, they cost Rs 97.97 and Rs 91.50 per litre.
Rates have been raised across the country and vary by state, based on the amount of value-added tax imposed. Fuel prices continue to rise across the country, with many areas seeing rates surpassing Rs 100.
