Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) along with its dealer partner – Punya Toyota has announced the donation of a brand-newToyota Hilux, a lifestyle utility vehicle to the 2ndWorld War – Imphal Campaign Foundation. This Hilux will be utilized by the foundation to continue their research activity of historic relevance, by enabling access to the toughest terrains and deep rough roads of northeastern parts.
Towards this noble cause, TKM and Punya Toyota jointly handed over the vehicle key of Toyota Hilux to the authorities of 2nd World War – Imphal Campaign Foundation during an official gathering at the Punya dealership in Imphal.
Talking about TKM’s continued efforts on giving it back to society, Mr.Varinder Wadhwa, General Manager Associate, Strategic Business Unit, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said “Our collaboration with 2ndWorld War Imphal Campaign Foundation is a step ahead in this direction to acknowledge the efforts of theheroes and remember them for their bravery.” The Foundation has also been supporting the Government of Manipur to manage the “Indian Peace Memorial”.
