In a bid to cater to the needs of senior citizens in West Bengal, ICICI Bank has rolled out a series of initiatives aimed at providing enhanced banking services and celebrating the cultural richness of the state. The bank has introduced dedicated desks staffed with Relationship Managers (RMs) at all branches across the state, offering personalized assistance to seniors for various banking needs.
These initiatives include facilitating services such as form 15H submission, life certificates, fixed deposits, and interest certificates. Seniors can also access banking services from the comfort of their homes through the bank’s retail banking application, iMobile Pay. Moreover, ICICI Bank has extended its services to the doorsteps of senior citizens, ensuring convenience throughout the state. To promote these efforts, ICICI Bank has launched an ad campaign titled “Moner Moton Banking,” featuring renowned actors Prosenjit Chatterjee and Sabyasachi Chakraborty. The campaign, aired on popular Bengali news and entertainment channels, aims to raise awareness about the bank’s senior-friendly services.
In addition, the bank has unveiled “Tarar Khonje,” a talent search exclusively for residents and NRIs above 50 years of age. This initiative celebrates Bengal’s rich cultural heritage and offers seniors a platform to showcase their talents in various categories such as dancing, singing, poetry recitation, and photography. The talent search has garnered significant interest, with over 5,000 registrations in just a few weeks. Akash Raghav, State Head of ICICI Bank for West Bengal and North East, emphasized the bank’s commitment to providing hassle-free banking experiences for seniors and celebrating the talents of Bengal’s residents. Winners of the talent search will have the opportunity to appear on television with actor Prosenjit Chatterjee.
