Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) conducted a large-scale road safety awareness campaign at Army Public School, Bengdubi, reaching over 2400 students and staff members. As part of its ongoing mission to foster safer roads across India, the initiative emphasized interactive learning and practical education to instill responsible road behavior among young individuals.
The campaign included activities such as danger prediction training (Kiken Yosoku Training), virtual riding simulations, quizzes, and helmet awareness games. Designed to be immersive and age-appropriate, the sessions aimed to shape the mindset of future road users and promote road safety as a shared social responsibility. The school’s support and the students’ enthusiastic participation further boosted the program’s outreach.
In Bengdubi, such awareness programs resonate deeply. Local traders and commuters often face challenges due to unsafe riding habits in the area. Initiatives like HMSI’s are seen as crucial in nurturing a new generation of safer riders, potentially reducing everyday traffic mishaps around the market zone. Aligned with its global vision to achieve zero traffic fatalities by 2050, HMSI is expanding its reach through platforms like the multilingual “E-Gurukul” and operations across traffic parks and education centers nationwide.
