Hilux Black Edition unveiled in Siliguri: Toyota brings rugged luxury to North Bengal

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) showcased its new Hilux Black Edition at Topsel Toyota in Siliguri, West Bengal, marking a bold move to cater to adventure seekers and urban explorers in the Northeast. Known for its extreme toughness and reliability, the Hilux now arrives in an aggressive all-black avatar, combining rugged performance with premium sophistication. Powered by a 2.8L four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine with 500 Nm torque and a 6-speed automatic transmission, the Hilux Black Edition offers best-in-class 700mm water wading capacity, 4X4 drivetrain, and advanced safety features like 7 SRS airbags, Vehicle Stability Control, Electronic Differential Lock, and Hill/Downhill Assist.

Design upgrades include a black front grille, 18-inch black alloy wheels, swept-back LED headlights, and black accents on mirrors, handles, and fenders—creating a unified, bold exterior. Priced at ₹37.90 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India), bookings are now open across Toyota dealerships. The launch event was attended by TKM’s East Region VP Mr. Arun G.
