Halder Group marks centennial milestone with global expansion and strategic rebranding

Halder Group, a leading player in the rice and oil manufacturing industry, celebrates a century of excellence since its establishment in 1924. From its origins at the B.C. Halder Rice Mill in Birbhum, West Bengal, the company has grown into a global powerhouse, influencing the rice industry both in India and abroad.

In its centennial year, Halder Group plans significant transformations including a strategic rebranding effort and entry into the retail sector. This move aims to cater to evolving consumer preferences and expand its global footprint. Last year, the company successfully launched operations in four new countries—Ghana, Benin, Cameroon, and Togo—augmenting its international presence alongside existing markets.Known for its commitment to quality and social responsibility, Halder Group has become a key exporter of Parboiled rice from East India under esteemed brands like Moti, Bhoj, and Diva. Additionally, their premium edible oils, Odaana and Omaana, have gained popularity across the eastern zone of India.
