Rajganj, June 18: In a tragic turn of events, the lifeless body of a young woman was found hanging at her residence in Baniapara village under the jurisdiction of Panikauri gram panchayat of Rajganj block. The deceased has been identified as Reena Roy, a higher-secondary passed student.
Family sources revealed that the incident came to light when Reena’s sister noticed her absence this morning. Concerned, she immediately alerted her parents, who started a search. Later, Reena’s body was found hanging in another room of the house.
On receiving information, officials of Rajganj police station immediately reached the spot. The police recovered Reena’s body and later sent it for post-mortem to find out the cause of her death.
