A gate meeting was held regarding various problems of tea workers. The gate meeting was held by the Bharatiya Tea Workers Union, the BJP’s tea plantation workers’ union, on Monday morning. The meeting was held in front of the gate of the Tasati tea garden factory in Falakata block. It is come to know that the gate meeting of the day is mainly about increasing the minimum wage of the workers, providing land leases and other demands.
It is said that this gate meeting will continue for the next three days and if their demands are not solved, the members of BJP’s tea plantation workers’ union Bharatiya Tea Workers Union will start the gate meeting again. Labor leaders Anand Mahali, Mahado Urao, Rajen Mahali, Jalsu Panna and others were present at this gate meeting.
