Gandhi family ‘most corrupt’ in world , Says BJP on summonses

Dubbing the Gandhi-Nehru family as the “most corrupt” in the world, BJP on Thursday said it used to be now not the birthright of its individuals that probe groups can’t summon them in accordance with law if they are accused in corruption cases .

At a press conference, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia launched a sharp counterattack on the Congress management a day after the opposition birthday celebration accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of a “cowardly conspiracy” agai- nst its president Sonia Gandhi and her MP son Rahul Gandhi following the Enforcement Directorate’s summons to them for questioning in the National Herald case.
“Corrupt people will have to be scared and bow before the law,” Bhatia said and rejected the cost of political vendetta, noting that neither any excessive courtroom nor the Supreme Court has ever quashed any proceedings in a case of corruption on such a ground. Slamming the Congress for its assault on central probe agencies, Bhatia stated that investigation organisation heads have been summoned via the preceding Congress authorities and their reports changed.

“They are now independent and act in an unbiased manner unlike Congress regime when the SC had termed the CBI as the caged parrot,” he claimed.
Bhatia said the Congress need to tell the country that each Sonia Gandhi and Rahul are on bail in a case of corruption (National Herald case) and Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra had also received an anticipatory bail in a case of alleged graft against him involving land deals.

“If there is one most corruption household now not solely in India but in the world, then it is the Gandhi family,” he alleged, including that the human beings used to seem to be at the family with have faith however they tried to loot the country.
The Enforcement Directorate had summoned Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi for questioning in a money laundering case linked to the National Herald newspaper.
