Naxalbari: A four-wheeler overturned on Asian Highway 2 near Atal adjacent to Kiranchandra Tea Garden in Naxalbari, injuring five people.
According to reports, the vehicle was going from Siliguri to Naxalbari when it went out of control while trying to overtake and overturned on the roadside. The injured include the driver and four passengers.
All the injured were rescued after the incident and admitted to a private hospital in Bagdogra for treatment.
On receiving information, Naxalbari police and Naxalbari Traffic Guard officials reached the spot. Police recovered the vehicle with the help of a crane and started investigating the incident.
